If I was ordering a new one, THAT would be the color I'd get! My grandson loves the 6th gen- reminds him of the Transformer cars I think. He would absolutely FREEK if I got one in that color! Really good 1st crisis pick.

Welcome! Also, great choice with the V6 6MT (although I'm biased).

Welcome and absolutely beautiful ride. May you enjoy her for many years to come. I bought mine this year in April, at 59 yrs old. I feel like a fat kid in a candy store every time I get in and drive.

Very nice car! Best of luck with it, and ENJOY!

My 2023 says CAMARO on the side with that emblem... but now I've seen a few examples with just the RWB emblem. Mine is a 2LT as well. Is it because I have the RS package?

I bet that's exactly it.

Awesome! I put 130k on my 2010 Mustang GT and sold it a few years ago.....went to a Honda Civic and all it was for me was transportation. I couldn't relate to it at all. Started to obsess over the Gen 6 Camaros and so glad I made the swap. I love this car and get excited to get behind the wheel. This car has everything for me....stunning looks, amazing driving dynamics, impressive power and great fuel mileage. And so far, the build quality and fit and finish are top notch.

LOL posted that the first week the Gen6 was out. Wanted one badly but this was one of the deal breakers for me.

Got LAMBASTED for it. As I expect to now.

Awesome ride MLC and thanks for the pics!

A quick follow up on the stiff first gear. I hope you mean that you are at a complete stop and are putting it in first? I am speaking beyond my expertise here - but you can see a lot of discussion on the interweb - but generally, first is just for taking off from a stop. I believe the synchros work hardest on 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 because of the largest potential differential in ratios.

Having said that, the M6 in my ZL1 seems rock solid. My 2008 E93 M3 6 speed, 2006 Z4, etc., felt a lot more fragile, for example.

Good luck amigo!

....Going into 1st after the car has been sitting for awhile. Like over night. This will probably loosen up after some time. I never force a downshift into 1st while moving. I know how that will end down the road. This is my 4th manual car in 40 years of driving so not new to rowing the gears.

Thanks!
