OK, Now I need help

OK, most here know I have a RHD ZL1 from Australia. I was putting in Jennetty's 125 kit, and I just got hit with an obstacle. HSV rewired the car a bit. I cannot even find the Chassis control unit. The loom looks much the same. But I cannot find the module. I do know the 20A fuse that supports the system. So I'm thinking of running some small current to see if I can get a reading from a multimeter. Unless somebody else has a better idea or knows where HSV put it. I do know its there because the company, KPM Motorsports, I bought the headers from says it must be re-tuned. So I called and emailed both companies to ask where is the module. And nobody will respond. Its like, we made our money off of you, so we don't give a damn. I'll never buy anything from either of them again unless their customer service policies improve a lot.

Assuming you're talking about the wiring for the JMS, you don't wire into the Chassis Control Module. You need to locate the Fuel Pump Control Module. On ZL1's and 1LE cars, this is located under the car above the rear axle.

I do think that old ZL1's you were able to tap into the box in the trunk over on the drivers side, but newer they relocated this to under the car, above the differential and that is where mine was and I hat to tap into the fuel pump hot wire to the fuse box.

That is not what I have on the instructions from Ted. Ted's instruction manual is the exact same as the video tutorial I got from online. However, if there is another place I can splice into the line that would work, I guess. I'd rather put it in where Ted's instruction manual says to.

I tihnk you've overlooked the details in Ted's instructions. I'm giving you facts and Ted's instructions also include the below note.

Quoted verbatim from his website:

"C. Remove the rear fuse box cover and locate fuse F35. Remove and replace this with the provided 30A fuse, and put the cover back on.
Step 2 – Setup and Wiring
This step is dependent on the trim level of your Camaro. On the LT1 Camaro SS, the FPCM is mounted on the inside left area of the trunk, facing upright. For ZL1 and ZL1/1LE cars, the FPCM is located just above the left axle. Determining how to route the wires is crucial to the setup of the JMS, and will determine where you mount the JMS as well."

Don't forget to replace the 20A F35 fuse with a 30A one (also don't ask me how I found out what happens if you do, heh).

No Amazon here. But maybe Lazada has it.

Our cars use bog standard Micro2 ATR fuses, you should have no problem sourcing a green 30A puppy locally. Or a kit, realistically.

BTW the underhood fuse box has a row of spare fuses (F68 to F72 on my 2018), you might find one there, too.

I did find and already purchased some. They were cheap. Also, I found a nice tip for my JMS Powermax. This guy made a voltage gauge for his JMS so he could Fine tune it and ensure it's always boosting correctly.

I have Space for 2 gauges. and I'm absolutely going to add this to the pod along with my banks i-dash. I actually got a RHD defroster vent dual pod. I can't believe somebody made them.

Good idea, I did the same with a LED voltage meter and just mounted it using 3M double sided trim tape by the OBD2 port, but I can see it while driving just by quickly looking down. I used the grey and black wires used for the vacuum sensor that run from the JMS unit to the throttle peddle since I'm using the peddle to engage voltage boost. This gave me the extra wires to use to carry the voltage from the trunk connection to the LED voltage meter. I explain on my posts I linked above. Make sure you get gauge that can show your voltage to at least 2 decimals. Since you have to set your voltage to 17.47v and not 17.4v
