The ZL1 is now $72k, so if you're going with that comparison then it would be against the M4 (S58 engine, the LT4 equivalent of the B58 from the Supra/M2) and you'd be in the same position all over again with the Camaro losing.

Supra needs six piston up front
Test drove one, great car, but worse in cabin visibility.
Very tight in there, Gen six is much easier to get in & out

The fact that you’re comparing the lt4 to that motor

I’ve driven and spent a good amount of time in a 23 AWD m4. Yawn.

What fact? The fact that they're faster? I swear, with the amount of shit talking that goes on towards objectively good cars it seems like so many of you don't even care about cars and are only trying to justify your own purchase. Liking other cars and acknowledging there are other options out there doesn't take away from your own car.

A 3.0 Supra runs from mid-$50ks to $60k, which would be around the pricing of a somewhat loaded 2SS. You'd have to jump up to nearly $70 to get a basic ZL1 (2023) and that was before the large price increase for the MY24 ZL1's.

= you're not getting a new ZL1 with (new) Supra money.

What do you drive? Your profile says "brand & model". You're on a Camaro forum with a grand total of 77 posts and you have everyone here all figured out...

A Ford Pinto.....we're on a Camaro forum, what do you think?

Are you surprised not all Camaro owners are fanboys? Of course I like them, but I like other cars too.

So why does your profile say "brand & model"..? Strange... So if someone doesn't agree or think like you they are "justifying their purchase?"

I like a lot of other cars... I even used to own a Supra back in the 80's. They are butt ugly vehicles now. Same with the Z... It's just an ugly vehicle...So that means I'm trying to justify my purchase? I guess I don't follow your line of thought at all... Like I said... You've been here for a grand total of 77 posts and have everyone figured out. Laughable at best...

..

Because this isn't facebook and I don't care about having a "profile" on the dozens of websites I regularly go to? What a weird form of validation. Anyway, I updated it just for you
