Legal: 2023 Toyota Supra vs Camaro 2SS 1LE vs Nissan Z. Drag and Roll Race.
Vs the Supra, the camaro appears to be short shifted.

I watched that a little bit ago. My thoughts on it were. The Z pulled good on the top end. Supra’s aren’t a joke, I’ve heard they are underrated in power, and they hook up pretty good. The camaro’s 4th gear ratio seems to be too tall. Maybe 5th should have been 1:1.

Put the A10 in the Camaro and let the computers do the work, it'll take both of them... The dude was totally short-shifting against the Supra...

They already did that and the Camaro still lost to the Supra. The B58 is no joke and having the weight advantage just further helps the Supra.

But in the handling department would be different.

I used to own an 82 Celica Supra when they actually looked good. Now the new Supra's are just fugly. I could careless of the performance of one, I can't get past the bubbly look.

The Camaro is a 2015 design, hardly a fair comparison to a 2023 model year BMW that is much lighter. Also, as jamala00 stated, a car has to be emotionally appealing, too, preferences typically aren't 100% about performance and nothing else.

Basic 3.0 Supra lands somewhere between a really loaded SS and a ZL1 of course
The fact is you can get the performance of the Camaro in the video for $38k

Ya I noticed the same thing. Shifting way to early against the supra from a dig.

If it was an auto they’d be using the paddles slowing it down, no doubt.
