Don’t know about the Camaro yet, mines a V6 (will know about a Camaro soon), ones in my wife’s Balzer are great.

Are the ventilated seats still on constraint? I just took delivery of my 23 and doesn't feel like it's blowing...

What is being discussed above is a new 2019 option to have seat ventilation and heating coupled to the A/C in its auto mode, nothing to do with remote starts. The 2016-2018 infotainment does not support this.

I'm not sure the ventilated seats are working properly in my new Camaro. I don't feel anything even with it set on high but I do hear the vent is on.
I had ventilated seats in my Blazer and would have to turn down to the lowest setting or even turn it off in the mornings because it was a bit chilly. Did anyone else have this issue? I live in south Louisiana and it is so HOT right now but I feel like I should be feeling a little something cooling my rear..... |

I dunno if it's my body type or the clothes I'm wearing or if there is actually something wrong. I looked at my window sticker and didn't see any asterisks or marks next to the feature indicating it was neutered due to part shortage so I don't believe it's that. I have never owned a car with ventilated seats before so my experience is limited, but I feel like I have been in cars with vented/cooled seats (all leather) and noticed it way more. My wife says she can feel the vented seat function in the passenger seat, but she is quite sensitive to temperature changes in general. I will try sitting in the passenger seat myself later to see if I can feel a difference. |

The 3 people on page 3 of this thread that are saying they barely feel anything, the reason you don’t is because vented seats just aren’t nearly as good as AC seats. You 3 are in Florida, Louisiana and Texas. It’s just not going to help much during the summer in the climates you are in.
I just picked up my 2ss 1le last week and I can both hear and feel them work but I am in a much cooler climate than you. The one day it was close to 90, I didn’t feel them much, only heard them. For them to feel their best, you need to have your climate control on only the feet setting and have the fan on full or close to full blast since it is just using the cabin air near the fan to cool us.

I mentioned above mine are lackluster as well in my ‘23 ZL1. They pumped way better in my ‘17 SS with just the leather seats.

yeah some days they feel fantastic somedays I dont even notice. Having the Windows/top down definitely decreases effectiveness. Ive thought about putting an ice pack under the seat for extra cool air LOL

Here in SoCal summer, I dont feel them much either. But I will say this, you need to have the AC on and the car cooled down substantially to feel anything. Aiming the AC to the floor helps too. I know they are on because I can feel them, but they are nothing like the vented seats in my dads old Cadillac Deville. Even the one in my girls boxster are way better.
Folks with the ZL1/Recaros might get better cooling too due to the material.

So my car is somewhat a peasant with aspirations of class. 2020 Lt1 but with factory recaros. My understanding the cooling fans are in the seats just not hooked up. Reading this thread has me wanting to use them. I've seen the gen 5 diy harness. Has anybody else got them to work with the factory infotainment/hvac system?

I have a 23 1500 Sierra AT4 and the vented seats are terrible. I always ask my daughter if she can feel hers in the passenger seat. I cannot tell that mine are on, even on high
