Regarding pricing, I would use a web site like Kelly's Blue Book to see what range you are looking at in your geography, mileage, options, condition, etc. Otherwise, I suspect you are "guessing".

Ive been looking at carfax, and cargurus. They both show the price ranges. I've always done my own wrenching, so a newer car, especially a high mileage one, is kind of nerve wracking for me.
Ive already found a couple better deals, like this one, for instance.
Only thing is , I really like it in White, next is black. The blue might grow on me...

Looks like a better deal in my opinion!

Why has it been sitting on the lot for so long?

It had 5 or 6 good dings in the front end, other than that, it was a really nice ride. Still, 39k for an 8 year old car seems like a lot.

That was my thinking, now I’m here with a 2022 I got for 46k

It does have a minor carfax damage history with just dings it says: https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...o=%27carfax%27

For the mileage it’s not terrible but the 8 year old is probably why it’s been sitting tbh

A manual and all trims of ZL1 are the only way around AFM in a V8 Camaro.

Range makes an AFM disable device that may work depending on the year, if the above two options are not to your liking.

A quick tip in your search. Google "what's my car worth " then click on carfax website. Enter your zip code and then Vin of the car you are looking at. Check the box that states "I own this car." And hit search. It will give you trade in value and private sale value. If you can buy that car for private sale or less, then it's a good deal. Anything over private sale price is just giving the dealer extra money.

Thanks. According to that, every car I've looked at is grossly overpriced. On the other hand, carfax info on the sites I've seen the cars, has said they are good, or fair deals. Shoot me, now.

We're probably at the stage where dealers will no longer negotiate, even on used ones. They know the enthusiast will pay if they really want to get into a Camaro before they're gone. Just my opinion.
