I believe finding a '24 SS/1LE or ZL1 at MSRP in any trim or color that arrives unsold to a dealer will be a unicorn. With that said I'll be calling about every in-transit car I see on the internets that's close to my build and asking anyway...

And that’s on a full production year and not this shorted run we’re getting for ‘24

Well I found a 2023 Rapid Blue ZL1 IN TRANSIT to a dealer and it was available. I put a deposit down on it. ETA is 7/10.

Just unsure if I'll get the 2024 allocation, didn't want to risk it. Price hike was another factor, but the new one is MSRP plus $2k.

And msrp is 5k more so 7k and it's a maybe at best. I think people are kidding themselves that all performance 24 Camaro's won't be heavily marked up, it's a five month production run. The pain will be excruciating for those with orders as the clock ticks down. Pass..

You guys are exactly correct and that was my take too. That is why I luckily snagged a 2023 ZL1 at MSRP, $199 doc fee, no BS $ add ons. Worried I may not be able to get a 2024 so I jumped on it. Just did the fly and drive road trip back home and put 1,450 miles on it already. To find out recently there was a $5k price hike was a big bonus.

Good luck with you new cars.
