Thanks man. It's crazy out there, but I am determined to try every avenue to get an order in, CE edition or not. I would be perfectly happy with a just a simple 1SS 1LE ...

Anyone that works for a dealer that can even put an order in for one? I've called over 50 dealers between Florida, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia all big dealers. I've put 2 deposits down and had both refunded to me within a week. Not one will even try to put an order in workbench. I've called gm directly they even had dealers call me still no one making an effort to even attempt an order or they said will go to the owner or buddy of an owner. I feel most are waiting to see if they get one even if they say they probably won't just to put them on the lot and ask 50k over or something like that. Id pay little over but whats a recommended dealer? The vast majority want to stick me with something on the lot. Gm said the website wont change to even spec one out or have a build sheet to submit to a dealer for 2024 until production begins.

ZL1 - $5,000.
SS and LT1 - $2,600
1LT, 2LT, 3LT - $4,000(partly due to the 2.0T going away

Yikes. Looks like me purchasing a ZL1 ship has sailed. I will stick to my SS 1LE and eventually move into a C8 in a year or 2.

The "destination charge" went up to $1595. Hilarious, since my car travelled one hour by truck from Lansing to the dealer in Clarkston, Michigan.

I can’t believe the price of a 1ss/2ss has increased by 5k since 2016 for literally the same car. If there were no supply chain issues I’d bet they’d struggle to even sell 40k Camaros total (regardless of trim). I know we are struggling to get our orders accepted but I believe that has more to do with them only having 20-30k allocations available + constraints. I currently have a deposit on a 2023 but I would have more strongly considered a 2024 Mustang if I had to pay 2024 prices. The Mustang at least has an updated interior + gen iv coyote.

If you don't find one direct from GM , you could always buy from a collector/dealer with huge markups. Its only money. If you have it, might as well use it.

I hope you find one before the crazy markup stage, cheers

I honestly don't want it second hand even if they bought it to make a profit. I'd pay for there spot just don't want it titled twice

Had asked my local dealer to let me know when he got the pricing. Thx for posting the pricing. I'm out as well. I was debating a '24 Riptide 2SS, but like you and some others, I'll wait a couple years and most likely just get a used C8 if the prices come back down to earth.

And those upcoming price increases now give dealers fodder to do ADM's on remaining '23's coming in or on lot, i've spoke with a few in my search and that's what i'm hearing from them.

I ordered a 2023 LT1 in MARCH. They moved it to a 2024.

So they can't deliver a car in 5 months, and my reward for having to wait is a $2600 price increase?

Out of principle, I'll be canceling my order. That's simply GM taking advantage of customers. A money grab.

I’ll be pissed if they do that for 23’s that already have deposits on them/allocations assigned to customers.
