I still think GM is gonna have these coming out of heir ears or they just wont build that many once the orders fail to materialize.

Take away 50-100 copies given to promotions, contestants, influencers, and “good-ol-boys” and that leaves about 3-4 per state. Good luck!

I don’t think many CEs will be used as prizes in contests. It would be too much like winning Second Prize in the Beauty Contest when you’re playing Monopoly.

Nope - I tried this morning at the dealer. (And no, I’m not getting a CE.) Now I’m on the list with a couple of dozen other buyers with 2024 orders waiting to be input into the Chevrolet ordering system - whenever they get it turned on.

I checked the Donlen site, which does an excellent job of tracking vehicle production dates, and all it says is To Be Determined for both order entry and production startup.

I tried as well... did get on a list at one dealer and dropped a deposit but I'm #2

2,900 US Chevrolet dealerships.....300 US Camaro CEs....Pretty bad odds. I can't imagine any dealership getting more than one...About a one in ten chance of getting one unit....

Any talk of a restriction on re-selling or going to an auction?...The secondary market for flipping them might go on longer than them being available at any dealership...

Good luck. I think 99.99999% of those shopping for one are in for a big disappointment.

Dealers were available to input 2024 orders on 6-15. The Sales Manager put my order in yesterday at 10 AM, he printed it off, and handed me the paperwork with my workbench order # for a 2024 CE 2SS. My dealer did not get an allocation this week for a 2024, so my order status is at 1100, but it is in the system and I do have an order number. No clue as to when they will get an allocation, but at least I am the first 2024 order in their system. They do sell some Camaro's, so hopefully allocations happen soon. I have ordered a half dozen or so Chevy's in the past, the workbench order on the new system looks a good bit different than the old system. I believe he told me that 24 Camaro builds don't start until September, I was thinking it had been July or August in the past, but I am getting old!

Good luck!

From what I've read here, the allocation window begins 6/29 and 2024 production starts mid-August. Many of us are in the same boat when it comes to the order getting the green light. Used to be that customer orders got preference over stock orders. Irony here is that there are so many in stock 2023s on the Chevy configurator.
Many of us prefer a custom build experience.

I spoke with a dealer today in Chicagoland and was told that the total number of CE packages available for this last year of production is 2000 for non-ZL1 Camaros. Can anyone confirm, clarify or debunk this heresay? I was also told that even though there ios no firm pricing yet, that I can expect a significant market adjustment even for non ZL1 CE orders. :sigh: I ended up not getting put on his list (he said there where 20 people ahead of me) ... found another dealer with only 1 person on his Camaro list, so I am going in Monday to build and submit my order. :fingerscrossed:

This is what I've heard so far....Good luck.

Anything yet on CEs in all the other trim levels? Or is that something too soon to know or even of any interest?
