The OEM fluid looks pinkish red but is called orange. I just bought some Dex cool orange 50/50, but when poured into a bottle to top off the reservoir it was pinkish red. I read that in 100% glycol form it looks orange but turns pink when mixed to 50/50 glycol/water.

After resurrecting a 2 yo thread on this instead of starting a new one, I perused a few more threads on my question and seems there is no issue. Just likely a matter of not paying attention to the lower tank. I'll fill it back up halfway and run the engine per the manual instructions and keep an eye on it in the future.
