Yes, I agree that selecting tires, Summer OR winter, for our Camaros is not as easy as it is for say, my Ford Maverick pickup truck! Make a car as small as possible for better handling, stuff a really strong engine into that small car, add supercharging to some of the cars produced, use large diameter rims for the "look" that everyone wants, make it essential to have exceptional traction and therefor rather wide tires with really sticky rubber, and then go look for suitable tires.
NOT easy. Jim G |

The solution is a Winter Performance tire like Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 or Pirelli Sottozero. I got a DD this year and will be selling my 19x10" square setup I used for winter if anyone's interested. MRR FS02 in black: https://www.mrrwheels.com/blogs/news/fs02-wheels I used Michelin 265/40/19s PA4 N-Spec tires. They'd fit up to 295s for a summer street setup too.

Michelin Pilot Alpin 5:
https://youtu.be/Uf_vMGyCN98 I run 265 wide tires and they grip better than OEM in <50F ![]() They are way better than blizzaks on dry, and probably with every dedicated studdles winter tire, but still very good in snow.

With those tire sizes did you get any abs or tire pressure light or any of the sort?

In my case, I ran TPMS in each set of wheels - you'll need the $18 tool to program sensors when you swap wheels. Tool is so cheap, not even a big deal.
No issues w ABS at all, tire side different not much different than stock.

I made sure to have the same total tire diameter. Nothing on the dash. Running 265/40 R19 all around.
