None at the typical rpms or boost level most people run them at. If you spin them faster, the whine intensifies. The Hellcat is in its own league nevertheless, although I personally don't care for supercharger whine (reminds me of the sound of failing ball bearings, can't help it).

Porting + DSX Lid + Upper and Lower Pulleys... and the blower is easily 2-3X louder!!!

I removed mine, and could tell a small difference. I did have stock exhaust though, so that matters. I also did it after the RF, but I feel like I could hear an improvement.

I'll find out soon the difference between a cast lid and a billet lid though. After shaving the ribs down to about half their original height (probably took off about 1/8"), that there IS even a difference from that. So - that ringing in the lid IS a real thing.

It's not hard, and pretty much free - I'd say: DO IT. If you don't like it, or can't tell - what's the big deal? It was free. It can't hurt. It's probably not worth it if you have aftermarket exhaust though.

2650r with a DSX billet lid screams almost like a Hellcat pullied for 17-18psi. The factory Maggie lid quiets the 2650 down a lot.

Far as increasing sound on a stock blower- Race port, aftermarket lid, and big gulp increases whine significantly.

I don’t know about the supercharger plate, but adding the carbon fiber K&N intake increased the whine quite a bit.

Yea, open intake is by far the best thing to do to increase the whine from the stock/unported blower. I did the rotofab and it sounded great...but after doing the MBRP axle back, I can barely hear it now

Probably a dumb question but any tuning need to be done going with a DSX billet lid? Any trimming to the heat extractor required? Link to said DSX billet lid?
