Just got a 7000TL a few days back. Its a pain to assemble but take your time and get the teflon tape correct. Most say don't use the liquid sealant they provide so I didn't. I used mine yesterday and it is everything I had hoped for. you won't regret the purchase.

Uggh. Had an email this morning saying that the jack I ordered will not be available until at least April, which is extremely disappointing. I have a V/M and email into them. Really hoping this doesn't turn into a black hole customer service nightmare.

Their C/S Rep. had a great solution. So excited for these to arrive!

I used the liquid sealant. It works fine IF you apply it and WAIT.. like 24 hrs, soooo.. many of the issues with it was from people applying it and waiting zero minutes and continuing on with the install many just use teflon tape or something like that as it's quicker.

Yes, I use a creeper with mine and there is plenty of clearance. It's actually the perfect height on a creeper to work on your back and have everything within arm's length.

Don't get that excited....if you don't get the assembly correct, i.e. sealant/tape, bleeding the brakes, fitment under vehicle correct you will have problems. I saw a video of a guy that took a week to work out all of his bugs. Take your time (plan 3 hours) with a clear head and you can do it no problem. Read the instructions a few times and watch a few videos beforehand. Saw a video of a guy that dropped his car b/c he let one side click in on the lock and not the other...he was ok but it could have been bad.

When lifted at max height and on the locking bars I slide a set of stacked race ramp wheel cribs under the tires for extra safety in the event somehow the lock bars explode during a hurricane or something haha.

As for the TLX type series they add more lift height which is always nice! Def worth the extra few bucks. Also, I'd recommend grabbing their wall mounts which lets you mount the frames to the wall when not in use.

Here is the video I did on the QuickJack:

Here is a quick YouTube "short" video of me lifting up my Camaro (sadly this forum only puts a link to the clip and does not embed shorts for whatever reason):

Great video. I've had mine for a year now. Did tons of work under my 55 Delray and just now will be moving the quickjacks to my new garage. I expect my side skirts in tomorrow and hopefully, I can use the QJ.

I understand the anxiety of the first lift...you were breathing a little hard and so was I, but once I got the car in the air, all of my fears were for nothing. These are very nice for our under the car DIY projects. Thanks for sharing.

I've had my QJ for 3 years now. It's been rock solid. No leaks.

The extended frame length is the way to go on our chassis given the distance between the lift points. Mine is the 5000EXT. That would translate to 5000TLX in the newer models which I believe are similar length, but a couple of inches more lift height.

Thank you! And yeah.. I was def sweating it on the first lift. I still triple check every time I go to lift the car and lower it haha.

Their website is very confusing, it says "In Stock" for the 5000TLX but then when you go to order it, it says "pre order".....umm which is it?

All you need is a hole in your floor board or worse yet, a bent frame. I always do the triple check thing before lifting..
