Nice bro is it all set for you?

Dealership told me the valve body is going to be replaced. Part comes in tomorrow and everything should be good to go.

That’s how it started the first visit I went in for a valve body back in June for 18 days, car came back with issue fixed for a week and then showed up in different gears and driving scenarios. Next time she went in for 3 months and her “full rebuild”. She drove fine for about 50 miles last night while tire temps were still reasonable. I am eager to continue driving her, but she was flawless in the one drive so far

Took a while for the dealership to inform me but they are now going to rebuild the transmission. I don’t think they’re replacing the TC on mine as they didn’t mention it, but I hope it doesn’t take 3 months lol.

It took 3 months for your dealership to rebuild your Camaro? Was it because the TC?

Sounds like your Camaro is in good shape and I pray it stays that way!

This was the 2nd visit after they said they replaced the valve body in July. They gave it back and it still drove funny. I dropped it off Aug 29th and was told it would take 2 weeks before the vehicle was even inspected. If you go back a couple pages on the ZL1 thread you can read my lengthy post. I received my car back on Nov 16th. Get a detailed explanation from the service MANAGER ASAP of exactly everything they plan on replacing in your rebuild. A full rebuild is everything minus the bell housing. If GM wants to claim they have no new trans to give you, make them replace every part. Don’t make the mistakes I did and be on them EVERY SINGLE DAY.
