All great reasons why we should just let blue states make those decisions and live the way they want and then let red states do what they want. Just don't make red states pay for the decisions blue states make.

Any article that ranks New Jersey as the top state in terms of "financial health" is laughable—even if NJ doesn't "depend" on the federal budget per se, it's broke and its citizens are taxed to death to merely keep the state afloat year after year. Yes, I lived there.
