You'll need to replace the TTY bolts that hold the caliper's on. I also had to drop a brace (which had TTY bolts..thanks GM) just to get clearance for my impact to get them off because I didn't have a combination wrench big enough while doing this on jack stands so I couldn't use my breaker bar. You can go to the screaming chicken website and order a set of caliper bolts for the front and rear that are not TTY for $60 or so. |

I do all my own brake stuff but after reading this, I wasn't aware the calipers bolts were tty. ****en shit!!!!!

I'd be willing to bet 90% of shops reuse them, including some dealerships.

jesus i just replaced all of mine on my 1ss with 1le calipers on the front and i paid about $1500 for pads and rotor rings and rear oem rotors and about $450 for labor
