Update on my rear diff leak: Dealer diagnosed right axle seal leak, part ordered and should be fixed on 7/18. Service rep said it was safe to drive on, as it was leaking slow enough that it would not cause any permanent damage. Topped off fluid and told me to come back. Will update after next appt.

Did you do it? if not, Let me know if you want help. I have done it on two different ZL1. It is easy. Actually, I got Amsoil in a package, not a bottle so I could simply squeeze the liquid into the diff. It is simple. Similar with the transmission fluid at leas for the M6.

No sir, I'm still in sitting with 950 miles. I'm planning to change around 1500. That would be amazing to not only meet someone from the forum but also someone with knowledge on this platform that's local.

It seems pretty straightforward, my only worry is overfilling.

Thank you bud, I will be in touch.

You cant overfill. it is fill until it drips and then let it stop. Let me know for sure. Also, if you want to do some driving around. I try to go to ACH or up 1 or even sometimes down to SD Palomar Mountain/Julian area.

Sorry OP, back to the topic. Did you ever figure out the leak root cause for your car?
