Hey Steve, if you're bored April 2 meet me at the cruise-in at Mojos in Garner and you can check out my Rotofab. Probably be there around 2:00 or so.

Same, I want more whine and think it is worth the price. Will likely add headers later too, so it will play a performance role eventually.

I think it's been proven multiple times to add power guys, saying it does absolutely nothing is just not factual. Now to what degree is debatable but how many have you seen on here post gains over stock with just rb or rb/tb combo?

For those that may remember, here is the initial dynograph Roto-Fab posted comparing their ZL1 intake vs stock on the factory tune.

It does show HP gains from about 5000 rpm up. However, it also shows a slight loss of torque in the mid-range rpms.

The loss of torque is what concerned me at the time because that’s right where your engine spends most of the time driving on the street.

Sorry not buying it. When I first bought my car and put the roto fab on I did before and after being totally stock to a roto fab and a full 3” cat back.

Results were within 4-5hp of each run.

Also since when does a stock lt4 make 11lbs or 11.99 pounds of boost ?

Yea, 11 lbs of boost is a bit high. As long as it was measured the same for each run it’s all relative.

Roto-Fab’s 5th gen ZL1 intake increased boost about a pound over stock. It’s not surprising that their 6th gen intake does the same.

I really think torque management in the tune is a factor in the loss of torque. To me, this more or less confirms you’re not going to get much gain from a after market intake without a tune.

ZL1s don’t have a sound tube.
