This oil is freakin' expensive everywhere. I haven't seen the Dexos2 oils for less than $10 a quart times 10..... Hundo for just the oil!

Yup. And I believe the dealer charges $200-250 for a change, labor included.

It is expensive. Of course I was used to Redline Oil for my BMW and Z. So Mobil 1 is actually a little cheaper per quart, but you need more of it.

My local dealer told me they charge $8.50 a quart for the oil and that an oil change is $100. I'm not sure that's right though. And that was also a couple of weeks ago.

Found some straight up ones, talk to folks with different regional accents lol. Pleasant experience. Found my 2SS closest to what I spec'd, with the best deal.

It is good to get the rpms up, although I'm still trying to not get too frisky with it until a get a few more miles on the engine. So far it doesn't appear to have used any oil either before or after my oil change. I checked it yesterday after driving the car both Saturday and Sunday and it's still reading full.

I was wondering about that PPF. I saw some posts that were complaining about it yellowing after a couple years. Have you looked into that?

Here's hoping you will still have it by the weekend Mike.

I know a few folks who have PPF on their vehicles and it has held up well. Like anything the key is doing the installation correctly. Regardless it certainly beats ending up with rock chips on the front of the car.

I purchased 12 quarts of oil and a filter for approximately $135 online. Of course I only needed 10 quarts so I've got a couple of extra towards the next oil change.

Looks like an oil change folder for the car for proof of change in case of engine failure...warranty claim.

I never got an allocation and had to fight with my dealer. They cave, they know the Camaros are a hot item.

When I called to cancel my order from Dec after no allocation last week, my salesman tried to assure me they had an allocation for "next week" and was quite upset that I cancelled...even hung up on me.

However, when I e-mailed the sales manager about refunding my deposit, he was nice about it and refunded with no push back.
