PIN38 is KICKING MY A**
Afternoon friends, I am installing my flex link E 85 kit on my 2021 ZL1, and seem to have hit a roadblock with the pin 38 connector. All of the videos that I have seen online clearly show a gray pin holding the location open. But my connector has none. Port 38 is definitely an empty port, but my pin does not fit in the hole, looks like all of the blank places have a very small black piece holding it shut, not sure if I’m supposed to punch it out or not. And don’t want to mess up the port. Can anyone please chime in?

Pin.59 is the only one with a gray pin placeholder…

there is a little black plug blocking the way and I had the same issue on my '21 ZLE. Watch a flex fuel install video on an LT4 Z06 and you will understand. The flex fuel pin will not go in without gently pressing out the black plug first. I think I posted about this roadblock and will try to find the thread.

If you still need help, I'm down in Vista today. Might be able to swing by if you're still having a hard time. Like they said make sure you have the correct pin and you have to punch out the plastic place holder

Thanks guys… I was able to punch it out… was just reluctant based on all the other videos I watched that had the gray plug. Thanks again!
