I also have an 03 Nissan 350Z that is highly modified. It's the best handling car I've ever owned. I used to autocross it quite a bit. I'm already trying to see if the stock 1LE's handling is as good. The 1LE feels so much bigger, but I know I don't yet have enough seat time in the 1LE to really tell yet. And of course the Camaro is stock and my Z certainly isn't. Both cars remain very flat when cornering and have great initial turn in.

My blue babies. LOL!

I'm sure I will love the new muscle. My old Firebird's are both 350's. The blue one has a stroker 350 Chevy in it. It's a blast to drive. Pedal down and a smoke cloud appears...lol. The yellow one is a Pontiac 350 HO and it does the same but I have always been a quarter mile guy. I can't wait to drive a road course. I bet that Z is a F'n blast to drive!

There is a track a few hours away from me. 2-1/4 mile lap. They offer a course that is school in the morning and after lunch you get the track and an instructor for the second half of the day for $650. No brainer. Once she's fully broke in I will be there.

I thought the yellow one was a Pontiac. Both old school muscle cars for sure. Very cool!

The best thing about the 1LE is that it is both a muscle car and a great handling car. The more I drive it the better I like it. It sounds like a muscle car, but drives like a sports car.

My Z is a hoot to drive. I've had it so long that I super comfortable in it. And I drive it hard when I can. It's so nimble.

The track school sounds like fun and will definitely help you on the track. I've attended several performance driving schools (including the BMW M school) and those will definitely help you learn how to control the car and learn its limits. You might also want to try an autocross or two before going to the track to help you get comfortable with the car.

Ya both of those cars are Firebirds. If Pontiac was still alive I would've ordered a Firebird for sure. I still love the Camaros. I had a 68 Firebird in the 80's so that's where my heart is. Good info right there. Thanks for the recommendation. We have a local track that has autocross on occasions. I'll have to check it out!

Thanks man! I really like it. And I like what I've done to it so far by adding the ACS rock guards and side skirts and the 1LE emblems. I recently installed suede knee pads and got rid of the hard plastic ones. Those plastic ones where killing my knee on the long drive home from the dealership.

BTW I just saw your new Youtube video with the window tint and the PPF on your car. I need to get my windows tinted too. I'm still trying to decide about the PPF. I might just do the front. The side skirts and the rock guards go along way to protect the lower sides of the car. I'm like you I can hear rocks hitting the car driving down the road. Those wide sticky tires that come on the 1LE don't help.

I can’t believe you drilled into the car to add those side skirts already. Since I already added PPF I’m definitely not going to do it now otherwise that’s money down the drain haha. Since you have side skirts doing the front bumper and fenders, and hood are necessary. It makes cleaning the car so much easier and I encountered my first rock chip and the PPF already healed that spot which I am shocked about already. Xpel is good stuff.

I hear you. I'm not planning on removing the side skirts so I'm not that concerned about drilling into the lower part of the OEM rockers. Most of the holes are under the car, but there are 5 or so in each lower rocker side. And all those rivets hold the side skirt on very securely though. I also prefer the look of the side skirts on the car to the look without them. Plus they match the satin black of the front splitter.

Speaking of the front splitter, did you know that it is held on by rivets (and tape), two of which punch through the front facia from inside the wheel wells? If you are planning to change the front splitter at some point those will have to come out and will need to be replaced with new rivets.

I am going to check locally for a PPF dealer. I'm sure there is one close by. Maybe the guy who does my tint does it. I've never asked him.

What?! I didn’t even know about the front splitter I learned something new today. Guess I will look up under the car and see! That’s strange they did it that way. Adding the splitter on the regular SS was a breeze

Yep! See the video linked below. At about the 3:30 mark the guy talks about the rivets from inside the wheel well holding the sides of the 1LE front splitter on. It's possible that this is only the case for the 2019 and newer Camaros after the front end refresh of 2019 and then again in 2020.

I added the 2nd gen splitter to my SS and it had to use the rivets and tape.

Rivets seem to be a common way of attaching splitters and side skirts.
