I saw a RB C8 in the parking lot this morning and was both excited and then sad for my own RB ZL1 being at 1100 for ~196 days now.

That is crazy. Ton of ZL1s in rapid blue around Michigan. I know because I looked for one yesterday on the chevy web site...lol

Saweet! They look great! Just worry someone would use as a step like arpad_m said but I guess that would be up to me to tell them and remind them not too! Where did that 1LE fender badging come from?!

I haven't had a chance to post any pictures of my car since I picked it up on February 19, but here a a couple of pictures. Right after I got the car I installed ASC Composite side rockers and rock guards and removed the Camaro emblem on the sides of the car and replaced them with 1LE emblems. I really like the satin black accents with the Rapid Blue paint.

Thanks! Sorry I just saw your post. The side rockers don't really stick out that much past the edge of the car. And they are on there pretty solid with all the rivets.

I purchased the 1LE emblems from Wildhammer Motorsports. They have lots of Camaro parts and accessories. Here is a link to the website. https://wildhammermotorsports.com/camaro-ss-1/

You are welcome! Hopefully it won't take too long for your car to arrive. Unfortunately shipping is still all over the place in terms of how long it seems to take. Distance from the plant is one factor, but so are train schedules and the availability of delivery drivers. My car took more than 30 days in transit. Hopefully yours want take that long.

I know...I've been scouring this site for info...lol. My dealer said eta is 3-26. I know that can change. I'm going to call GM customer service today to see if they can track the train. I bought this car in transit. My original order with a different dealer was placed 8/23/21 with no allocation when I cancelled that order on 2/5/22. Waiting is killing me. Never again lol...

Thankfully, it seems like most cars beat their eta, so hopefully yours will too. Mine had an eta of 2-22 and it arrived at the dealership after hours on 2-15. Of course the dealership didn't intake it until the next day, 2-16. My guess is you will see it before 3-26. My salesperson was also able to track the vehicle even when it was on the train and also in the offloading facility. You might ask your dealership if they can track yours. My salesperson would provide me with weekly updates about where it was once it was on the train.

I really hope that is the case. I already sent my salesman a text. He's said he will update me every Monday, Wednesday and Friday...lol. I said that would be great. In my opinion he should. He didn't have to work for the sale. GM said it left the Toledo yard yesterday. I'm getting pumped! How do you like your car?

Yeah I agree. Your salesman should keep you updated. If he doesn't I'd text or call him until he gets back to you. I texted mine every so often if I hadn't heard from him. A couple of updates a week is not asking for much. Plus they are checking anyway with so many cars that are pre-ordered nowadays.

I really like the car and I'm becoming more accustomed to it every time I drive it. It's interesting how many looks it gets. I hadn't driven it for a week so I went for a 40 mile drive this morning. I'm now at 415 miles. I plan to change the oil for the first time when I hit 500 miles. I've already got the oil and filter.

Very nice! I have two old muscle cars and a 98 and 14 Camaro with the V6. Never drove a modern muscle car. Can't wait!!

You will definitely love it compared to V6. The break in time isn't fun though. It's hard to keep it below 4k.

I also have an 03 Nissan 350Z that is highly modified. It's the best handling car I've ever owned. I used to autocross it quite a bit. I'm already trying to see if the stock 1LE's handling is as good. The 1LE feels so much bigger, but I know I don't yet have enough seat time in the 1LE to really tell yet. And of course the Camaro is stock and my Z certainly isn't. Both cars remain very flat when cornering and have great initial turn in.

My blue babies. LOL!
