No it didn’t but it also didn’t do it when I changed the tires at first either, it just started for really no reason. It almost always happens from 2nd to 3rd shifts around town when I’m playing around but I really don’t get to high speeds then.

I'm inclined to believe it's the tires. Maybe they're just wearing down and losing some grip. I just replaced my GY SC3 rear tires today, they were down to 2/32" and I was starting to get some shifting under hard throttle. After replacing the tires today, it's gone. I know when the previous set was new, I didn't have that issue either, only after they're were really worn.

Considering the only change you've made is the tires and it started soon after. I can't help but think it's the tires.

I played with the performance traction settings today and found the race setting reduced it considerably. I did 4 pulls 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th……2 each and found the race setting kept the back pretty straight. The other settings I was still getting the back and forth motion. I’m going to play with it some more but didn’t want to push my luck on the off-ramps too much on a Monday.

I'm going to disagree about the suspension pieces being engineered as more than good enough. GM engineered the suspension to a price point. That's why the BMR pieces make such a significant improvement when they are installed. As far as Hellcats breaking BMR pieces, I can't speak to that. |

I'm starting to think there is an engineered compliance in the OEM arms themselves. I wonder if not only do the rubber bushings contribute to spring rate, but the arms, too, because can all those arms move in their respective arcs in complete synchronicity? I recall a Member here state that the rubber OEM bushings do add in some spring rate, which makes sense, and when I thought about it more, I started thinking maybe the arms contribute, too. I don't think anyone's arguing the arms flex pretty easily. Perhaps they were engineered to do so, and it's totally fine because the arms are of an alloy that they return to their normal shape.
I know I don't like slop in the suspension, and will, and am, giving up a little compliance as a result, which I accept. I'm not sold on them being the culprit here, but I am basing that on a little experience I've had so far. And that came down to the tires - mostly...

I had the same problem when I first got the car. I am running Michelin 4s and it went away after I got an alignment.

I finally brought my car to Wallace Chevy in Stuart. Lionel did my alignment, it was off. He set it back to factory specs and the car feels like it did the day I picked it up. Stays nice and straight under throttle in any mode I want to be in. So in my case it was definitely the alignment.
