I buy these cars to feel connected and engaged w/ my car. Not for the fractions of a second faster shift time. I accept the A10 will almost always be faster in any situation now....I just don't care lol. Driving a car is more than that for me, as I know you agree with.

That's why I need both. I want the future C8 ZR1 with its DCT for time trialing and running my best lap times, but the ZLE is for fun!

Removed for now because of the micro chip shortage.

Just to add to the potentially mixed responses. that was implemented part way through the model year. my 2ss was built in 9/21 and has all of the climate features working

Thank you! I remember seeing something about options being removed, glad they will be able to retrofit later. No worries really.

Is it possible to get those features added back in if you have a 2ss that came without them?

Called dealers around me. Apparently chevy isnt taking orders on camaros due to them being "restrained"? Does that sound right? No one has any 2ss trims in stock and the only dealer that does is asking 60 grand and will not go down, such a huge mark up lmao. I would rather not have a camaro at all than to pay 20 grand extra in markup costs.

"Constrained"

That's not true. They are definitely open for taking orders. It's just that your odds of being picked up can be slim.

What does your build look like, and are you willing to travel? 20 grand over is a damned joke. Screw those places.

I would still personally get the newest you can afford. I don't suspect that there will be too many differences in any of the 6th generation Camaro, but you'll see progressive little improvements here and there. I'd say the biggest benefit will be the stereo head-unit as they will occasionally improve the processor or will have the latest software update. The other thing to consider is if you're financing, you will probably get a better finance rate on a newer vehicle than you will an older one.

Also what you should consider is that if this is the last generation of the ICE Camaro, you may want one of the later ones as opposed to an earlier year.
