Hi JSH,

Good call. That RPM range would definitely take the edge off of the massive torque available at low RPM's presently.

Lots of variables on ethanol use. Every car has its own blend ceiling depending on your set up. If your fuel system only supports e30, two 5 gal cans may get you thru a track day. You can also stick to 93 on track day. My car can run e70, so without a pump at the track I don’t run my max blend after the first tank. I bring a couple 5 gal cans and blend down after the first tank. I do feel it’s worth the hassle for me because I like the cooling effect of running it and the power bump. Since you go thru 3 tanks of 93, flex fuel may not be your best option unless your track has an e85 pump.

Yes, CW3 is my retired rank.

30% more fuel on full e85 i believe? So it'd be about another full tank for the day. Based on my math anyways, somebody please correct me

I am looking to do the same OP.

I am not looking for more power - it's primarily for unpacking the LT4 sound.

My mods will be as follows -
  • 1 - 7/8 Longtube Headers (I think Catless will be the way to go as our SC eats Cats)
  • Xpipe to be married to resonators (to prevent that tinny/raspy sound)
  • Stock muffler box (I want to be able to still use the NPP functionality)

There are plenty of axle back with NPP that will sound better and lose a few pounds versus the stock suitcase.

Highly doubtful, and I’m Sure he’s knows exactly what it will run to based on his mods or his inflated power numbers so there’s no real reason for him to go.

Plus he uses his stop watch to time his 60-130 so that’s real accurate too.

?? Yes, previous versions, but not the current version, which left the shop in late October. Despite winter weather, I have been able to work on some TCM edits since then though. The 75/25 was looking ahead to this season.

My original gesi gen 1 cats were gone at 700wheel the first time.
Not melted, but material pushed back and dented.

2nd set same thing.

I now have the gesi gen 2 cats and CSP headers and it’s been fine.

I bet there’s a lot of you with gen1 cats that are shot and you have no idea. Only way to tell is to scope them.
