Most importantly use a quality Top Tier rated fuel.

You could throw a bottle of seafoam in it occasionally or a fuel stabilizer. My car gets driven on the weekends in the summer and sits in the garage in the winter. In the winter it gets a full tank of fuel and the proper amount of fuel stabilizer, a battery tender, and gets driven to full hot operating temps once a month or so.

Full tank. Start the car and allow it to cycle every 2 weeks

If you are not actually taking the car out for a drive then don't do the latter. Just put the car on a tender and then forget about it. What you described just adds unnecessary wear and tear.

my take....

we have had wakeboats for the last 14 years. we would top off the gas and add sta-bil, batteries on tenders and leave tucked in the garage from oct to may and never an issue. last boat had a 6.2 ford raptor motor and 2 prior were 5.7 gm blocks and I can guarantee that those engines were running much harder than 95% of the cars on this forum with no ill aftereffects so as long as you use a fuel additive if you are sitting for more than a couple months you are good.

I drive mine on weekends only sometimes only once a month. I keep it in a storage unit and I either fill up before garaging it or at least 3/4 of a full tank. I use only Exxon/Mobil premium.
