On mine it took out all the rasp and no drone. I’m very pleased with it and finally done making adjustments to my exhaust LOL.

How do you like the mbrp resonators? Did you install all of it at once? Would you be able to make a sound clip of your setup?

The MBRP resonators are great. I did the exhaust in steps, axleback/midpipes/linkpipes/headers/resonators. I kept adding parts till it sounded how I wanted it. The resonators gave the exhaust a deeper rumble. I posted clips in post #13 of this thread.

What made you choose those? Did you look at others?

Anybody using the Borla 400939? Considering adding those. A lot of people are using Borla 60608 but those are not 3inch, so that leaves Vibrant 1795 or MBRP R1013 if I don't do the Borla 400939.

The long side of the borla 60608 can be expanded, and the other end just needs a 3” to 2.75” reducer welded on to Connect to your S pipes and then welded.

Took my buddy maybe an hour.

Edit: we cut about 3/4” off where the slip fit cuts were then expanded that end to 3” then welded on a 3” piece to the 60608 which was then welded to my s pipes.

I do like the size of the 400939 though..3.5" overall diameter is pretty good being that the inlet is 3"

Length really matters more on the sound effect. It’s not going to affect flow.

I think the MBRP R1017 has the longest body of what i have seen at 22". Most seem to be 10 to 20".

I used R1013s. 16” body and 20” overall. 3” dia inlet and outlet. It produces a nice deep tone with no rasp and no drone.

Thanks for the clips. You really have me thinking of adding those into my system if possible.

I have 2” CSP into Stainless works catback and there is just not as much control to the tone as I’d like.

Which SW mufflers are using? I went with the Legend series.

well, i ordered mine before they started doing the 3 different choices...and i'll be honest, i have no idea what muffler i have lol.

part number is ca16rvcb and i see on beefcake racing's site that catback is expanded to 3 choices now.

it sounded awesome and on the mild side before headers, and that's why i picked it. but the headers really jacked up the mild part of that equation

do you happen to know what muffler was standard before the choices?

I would politely disagree. I’m at 906 WHP at 14.6 pounds of boost with that Magnaflow muffler installed (in addition to AWE resonators and AWE Touring mufflers).
