Cheers! Of note, this is also with the knock sensitivity back to completely stock values. CSP Headers are truly no joke and do not need desensitization of the sensors for false knock from header noise, which is a major boon in my opinion. My buddy is thrilled. We tested the theory by upping running the MS109 blend (5 gallons) with 93 and with stock sensitivities for knock to see if any false knock came on. Not a hint of it. Last step is to run through the blended gas and see how the car handles 23.5 degrees of timing with the headers on straight 93 in the heat. If it starts pulling timing for real knock, we'll back her down to 22-22.5 and set her in place for the long haul. |

Should be making a pull in at least 5th with a A10. Not enough load on the engine in the lower gears.

I was thinking the track or air strip. I am not opposed to making a street pull either if you have a good spot. I realize that some don't. I'll leave that up for Nemo to figure out.

He's got a point though. The longer you can stay in the cells (under steady state), the better the data is. That's all he's trying to say. I've actually used lower gears and modulated my brakes to try to do something similar. Typically - I make 4-5 hits and just make sure I'm using cells where I get a minimum of 20-25 hits. If you watch how the cells change, at idle, for example, you'll see they move around until the ECM finds it's happy place.
