Them voiding his warranty for a catch can.

The main issue, for me anyway, is where the systems tie in under the blower. The blower has to be unbolted & lifted up out of the way to remove a plug under the blower. Then a fitting is used in place of the plug that runs to the catch can.

While not an overly complex process, it’s some what time consuming. It just adds headache to the process to have any warranty work done.

A signature pic update is in order! Congrats!
It may be a winter project.

& yes, I tried to get a new avatar pic the day I bought it. I go to the same place for that pic with all the cars I’ve owned in the last decade +, it’s a tradition I guess. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the angle I want because of poopy cars I couldn’t get out of the frame.

It's probably a 3 hour job, but well worth the effort when you see how much the can catches. It also keeps your oil cleaner (reduced gas dilution) which is almost as important

Unless there is an oil pump failure, the chances of a major warranty claim on these LT4 engines (stock) is pretty low - they are overdesigned and only running 9 psi. Compare that to 24 psi (!) on the new M competition cars. Let's see how they're holding up at 100k miles

I get it.

Variables do, however, occur.

Thanks Gunkk.

If I ever bring it down by you we’ll have to cruise Tamiami.
