Eyeballed my fronts yesterday. The inside edge wear isn't bad at all even with the track alignment setting. If anything, it actually looks like I am wearing the outside a little faster.
I track about once every month, FWIW. Quote:
From the factory, it's -1.0 camber all around.

AutoGlitz in Hollywood, good alignments for a good price.
Elite Roads is another good shop, although I haven't been there for 2 years. Call Redline Motorsports and ask who they recommend. Apex Alignment in [super] south miami will get you an impeccable track alignment. I heard Bello Motorsports in West Palm is good for track alignments too, never tried.

If you turn the strut hats yourself it's just a normal alignment to the spec you provide. My track alignment was $90. It took me about 45 minutes to turn the hats.

Thanks guys. I'll check out Elite Roads. Redline doesn't do it but recommended OK Tire in Pompano Beach.

Jacob is a good guy. He took a lot of time. Unfortunately, it wan't until I got home and really looked at the printout that I noticed front toe to be at - and not +. What do you guys think? Can I leave until I get it done again in maybe 3K miles? Sorry for the sideways image.

are you planning on tracking your car? it doesn't look aggressive enough if you are. for DD it's perfect.

After several track alignments at various Chevy stores, I would suggest turning the hats (this trips up some Tech's) yourself and then go anywhere you trust that has a Hunter rack. It's not difficult and all the specs are in the machine if the software is 2018+.
I've paid anywhere from $95 to $129. Again, it's not difficult and is only slightly more time consuming than a traditional 4 wheel alignment. |
