COVID killed customer service I guess

Not too positive of an experience to share regarding CSP Racing and Kooks unfortunately.

CSP is apparently unreachable via email or phone, my buddy has been calling them and emailing them to no avail after placing an order for a couple grand.

Due to the CSP issues, he called Kooks and nicely asked them to try and track down the order CSP charged him for and Kooks couldnt have been less interested despite non-responsiveness from their vendor (who per Kooks is their customer, apparently the end user is of no concern to them).

They agreed to send an email only after he pushed a bunch for them to help out, noting it wasnt their job to help and reminding him they didnt have any phone numbers or contacts to reach out to for their vendor.

Customer service these days is a joke. Thanks COVID.

That’s lame. No excuse for that.

I will say Dynosteve from RDP is the exception. Fantastic communication always.

Weird. I spoke with CSP last week. Called in, left a voicemail and someone called me back about an hour later.

EDIT: The person I spoke with was Alex

Alex from CSP always gets back to me in a timely manner, as well as gives me a call if a spot opens up and asks if I need anything done. Great shop imo.

I emailed CSP last week with some questions on their headers & they responded back to me within a few hours.

I spoke to Andrew from CSP on the phone yesterday, Alex is out in Brazil until next week and he normally handles everything from that perspective. They're a little backed up right now.

Say it's like this everywhere. To me, if some place mentions "covid" as an excuse for anything, its really an excuse for laziness. Was covid a legit excuse... sure. A year ago. Things are back to normal but the work force isn't. Some of it being the lack of employees but most being the laziness of people who are working from home in their PJs or at the office and they are pisser cause they aren't at home in their PJs.

This is a ridiculous comment.

I just dropped my car off at csp Monday. As someone else mentioned Alex is away on vacation and Andrew is answering calls when he can. Emails have been slower but he’s answering the phone if you call.

Not sure why your buddy can’t get through.

^^^^^^ This X 10.

Nothing shipping on containers from anywhere to anywhere right now, unless you’ve got another $20 grand to chip in. In that case, your product lines up with everyone else’s and you’re still backed up for 12 months.

If your buddy still has an issue pm me his info and I’ll reach out for him and talk to Andrew.

Thank you very much. He ended up getting ahold of the tuner (extension 2) who was a nice guy and reached out to the folks running the store.

Apparently, CSP Racing the webstore is a different company than the tuning side that the guy (who posts on Youtube a lot) he talked with runs. The store cancelled his order as requested after he got ahold of the tuner.

Nothing positive to say about Kooks though, they were unpleasant to say the least to work with.
