Thats what I've been told by the company I ordered through and Anderson. Yeah, still have the old girl. Had her since I was 17 (39 now). Unfortunately for her, life happened and she's just been sitting. 1 day ill get her up and running but right before we moved the started went (replaced it but still wouldn't turn over. Wiring issue. And then I also noticed the fuel pump wasn't turning on. Typical when it rains it pours. But I do want to grt it going. It has a really nice 406 in it that made 500hp with a stock tpi and a ecu still thinking it was a 305. Lol. Figure a fast ecu and a FIRST tpi should really wake it up. Good looking iroc. Rarely see the yellow ones anymore. *I say that and I just saw a guy who has 3 irocs in yellow. 1 hardtop, 1 t-top and and 1 Convertable. Such fun cars even stock. When out and bought the tools to fix the problem myself. All it was, was the throttle position sensor that needed adjustment. Cool that you still have your car. |

The whole tpi/ecu "tuning" has been the issue with the car. I put the 406 in and just trying to find a way to tune was next to impossible. hence why its really just SAT all these years. Now that first has that self learning ecu, I'll prob go that route and hopefully get some better results. |

Sorry, you are correct. In 1984, Chevrolet introduced the Camaro IROC-Z/28 for the 1985 model year. I bought mine in 84 so I always called it a 1984 IROC, TPI.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So i called Pilot Freight today because the tracking showed it hasnt left LA yet. Ive never used Pilot before so idk if it was like USPS and their updates just suck or what. I guess they scanned it to go out saturday, and its just sat there, in LA, since sat. When I called today the guy who i got literally said, "oh.. we messed up" and said it should have left sat or worse case monday and it hasnt. So he called whoever in LA and is trying to get it on a truck to AZ for tonight. It figures though, waited 6 months and now i gotta wait another week for it to go on a 6 hour road trip. |

Have you called? From my last conversation with them, it sounds like they can atleast find where you are on the list and give you a rough estimate of how long it will be.
