Sorry to hear that. It is really too bad that AC is not more customer service oriented. But I guess when you have a captured audience you don't have to.

I'm going to have my engineer daughter design and print a housing that will mount inside on rear window for the camera.

I have a extra camera and a extension wire.

I have tested the view from the inside and it's acceptable.

Honestly I don't really like the camera rear view mirror any way.
But I don't want to lose the function.

Made out of Reinforced Polypropylene.

I like the idea, mounting on rear deck, lid looking out rear window. Would you need an extension for the cable, was wondering if it would be long enough. Is your daughter doing it in plastic?

How good did the stantions of the wing fit your deck lid? Some others makers have not had good fit on the middle one.

Have you thought about just purchasing the shark fin antenna with the camera. It is somewhat a Pain in the Axx to install with having to drop the head liner, but it is doable. Took me about 2 hrs or so to do it.

Yes, I thought of doing the shark fin.
But I think it would be a problem to paint it especially with my Shock paint .
