I thought about a lift too and I could easily justify the cost versus storage although my garage is too low as well for a lift. My garage is only 19'6" X 19' 6" with a small 6 X 6 cubby and already has 1 truck 1 car, r roll aways, 4 bikes, 2 kayaks, shelves of paint, car accessories and car parts, hose reel. I have shelves all around it right up the the ceiling. I use almost every square inch of space. With 4 vehicles total, 2 are in the garage, 1 in the street. The 4th in the storage unit. I try as hard as possible and park in the shade in my neighborhood (and at work) for the one that is outside. It involves a lot of walking but keeps me lean and the paint from burning off the vehicles in the brutal South Fl sun. I need and sue the storage unit. Still way cheaper than buying a new house around my area. I have done the math, I know.

This isn't a 'next winter' thing for me... This is a "this is how it works for me now" thing. I'm selling the house and moving forward will have access to only one small garage. I own a full size Crew Cab 4x4 truck and the Camaro, and she has a small SUV. She gets the local garage in the condo most of the time with the occasional option to put the Camaro in there during the nice weather.[/QUOTE]
Ahh... well in that case, I would likely be doing the same as you then.

Even after I pointedly told them that their unwillingness to even acknowledge a dealer lot-created issue was a big part of why I won't buy this car (or ANY car for that matter) from them, they still wouldn't acknowledge the issue. Last edited by ember1205; 03-26-2021 at 01:39 PM. |

Did you know the spots were there prior to finalizing the purchase? If it wasn't brought up at the time (or shortly after), I could see how they would dismiss it. |

They were 100% present at the time of purchase but I didn't discover them until about a week later when I started detailing the car in my garage. It wasn't registered or driven for a full month after purchase and sat in the garage the entire time I'd owned up to that point. And while I could understand the dealership claiming no responsibility, the fact is that they won't acknowledge the topic at all. |

3M Finesse It? Works great on my boat getting the oxidation off.

Dunno. Maybe?
![]() Is there a Marine version of that, too? I was thinking of staying within the Meguiar's family only because it's easy to compare abrasiveness levels within the same vendor. For example, their Dual Action polish would be a bit more aggressive than what I've tried but certainly not at the top of their scale. I may also just try a different pad with what I have as well. |

-IF- it is repairable by polishing and -IF- it isn't something that will get corrected as part of anything else being done, then I'll take another pass at it. |

Long term storage. Every newer performance car I have had in the past 10 years, the battery will go dead. Even with me using the cars every couple weeks. I have had my Gen5, and 6 camaro's come up dead w/o a tender on the battery for any length of time. There are just too many modules running in these newer cars. Me thinks you might need to remove, or at least dis-connect the battery.
