Exactly why its super impressive. That car is moving out. For instance, the quickest blower only Hellcat in the country right now is a full weight Charger Hellcat which weighs about 100lbs more than the Challenger platform, he competed at the same event this past weekend and went .1 quicker than Jason, although he was running a Whipple 4.5L blower on a stroked 427ci. That being said, the quickest Hellcat in the country is in the mid 7's but its a half tube chassis at this point, full gutted interior.

I would be more excited if a YouTube/Rumble video of the pass was posted with the initial post

Maybe it will show up later, I streamed the event all weekend but had to pay for it. I don't know how to capture a video from a live stream and its probably not legal anyway. I hope a video comes up soon. Certainly Jason had to have someone there taking a video, you would think.

Somebody on Facebook posted the final pass on I think ZL1 Exclusive. Probably the guy or a friend of his. The poster commented on the old school stuff getting it done. The fox body should win. The car is likely far more modified especially engine wise than the ZL1. We all know how much more you can do to a Windsor engine than an LT4. But hey, the guy won that event. Kudos to him.
It also shows the LT4 is making strides in this current chassis at probably full weight with I’m sure limited suspension and chassis tuning.

If that’s what you think, then I’m guessing you haven’t done much drag racing. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Exactly. There’s a lot more to it then just “mash the gas”. WAY more.

Maybe not in a minivan, LOL, but any high HP car takes skill and finesse to extract the best times out of it. The higher the power level, the more skill it takes.
