Just wanted to clarify in case anybody else reads this. The original LPE pump was designed around the Gen 1 GT35 camshaft that has a 6.5mm fuel lobe which is 32%. The newer Gen 2 LPE pump was designed around the gen 2 GT35 cam that has a 7.85mm(40%) fuel lobe. I believe the confusion back around the time period of this thread was that the gen 1 LPE pump was only good for 10% more fuel flow over a LT4 pump with the stock LT4 cam that has the 6mm lobe.

That is what I thought I understood. Does that mean the the pump is good for more now and it that just due to the 7.85 fuel lobe? I guess what I'm asking is, is it still the same pump capability as far as you know King? Thanks in advance for your reply sir.

The LPE pump still flows 10% more then the LT4 with the same fuel lobe. However that is if you limit the LPE to a smaller fuel lobe. LT4 can not be ran with a 42% lobe. So if you take a LT4 pump with 38% lobe vs a LPE pump with a 42% lobe then the latter is going to have quite a bit more capability.
