Well Ted I've done lots of street and track logs. When you look at them and see all the timing changes and injector pulse, high pressure fuel pump at the rails you can see there is a lot of shit going on and it looks crazy so many things can happen during a pull especially on the street. Glad it helped.

Duty cycle is not relevant in a DI build. Injector PW is what you would look at instead. Keep it 6.0ms or less.

MS109 is a fantastic fuel that will easily support 1000 HP. Straight E-85 has an advantage we have seen 1300 with no signs of giving up MS109 50/50 with E-98 can be a good option and may be a bigger advantage due to less fuel volume Eliminate the Meth. Use 1 computer to run your engine instead of 2 Go with XDI pump and XDI 60 over injectors and Fore Innovations feeding it. Use KISS method. Ted.

MS109 is a great fuel but to expensive to run on the street at 14 per gal. I loved it in my Camaro but didn't drive it on the street for over 2 years. I spent an average of about 1100.00 a year on just 109 plus the VP M1 at 40.00 for 5 gallons so it pretty expensive compared to E85. Vp C85 was not much cheaper then MS109, I think I paid 65.00 for 5 gallons for my C7. Racing just ain't cheap.

With True E85 / E85.R / E98 at <300.00 for 55gal drums, it's hard to beat.

Thats true but there is a trade off as the race fuel requires less money for a fuel system. I made well over 850 with just the Lt4 fuel system and boost a pump. You can't do that with E85.

Exactly. E85 means big dollar XDI setup or stilll-not-cheap port injection setup.

Agree...MS109 is 15.00 a gallon. E85 is 1.80. So 175.00 a fill up vs 27.00. pretty sure the cost savings over a couple years will pay for a fuel system. So you can pay now or more over the long haul. There is no free lunch.
For a track car running race fuel isn't a big deal and makes sense. For a street car it's not economical. A LT4 fuel system and meth injection will support 8-850whp on E85. No meth then yes need a big dollar fuel system for full E85 but imo it's worth it if you are going to boost and make big power with a gen 5 LT engine.

Since we are talking about fuel systems. I am the opposite of Kiss but I enjoy messing with my car.
For some the port set up makes sense. Some quick math. $1000 intake, $1000 injectors, $1500 ecm, $1500 surge tank with pumps add in another $1000 for other stuff. $6k Now deduct out any of the high pressure stuff. No di injectors or hpfp. Isn’t just the lt4 stuff $1500? That gets the cost down to $4500 more than lt4 stuff. I have a fuel system good for ~2000hp on e85. One other thing for those that like to mess around is the enormous list of fun things you can do with that ecm now that it is in the car.

^^^^ very valid and proven point. Youre the guy thats doing his own thing and not following the masses but has one of the fastest cars on the site.
Looking back at my build. Since I have the SS, I should have went with the FORE to begin with instead of the DSX and (yet to be installed) LT4 intank. The "one and done", clean, labor, output really upsets the cost. Yes, there are many camaros making big power with JMS, intank and DSX but it seems like a lot of bandaids and more things to go wrong and piled into the car. The XDI pump and XDI 60 over injectors are $$$$$ but again, simple, proven, clean, factory...
