I'm looking forward to getting pistons to prepare for FI later & better fueling, maybe LT4. Axels & driveshaft maybe, not sure if any weak links below 700-800 whp other than pistons rods & maybe valvetrain, valves & springs, need better brakes. I was originally looking for an El Camino since I've had at least 3 but were harder to find and I found the wagon in Kentucky that was already painted so I bought it. Then I took it from there.

I have an 82 Silverado, it was my grey-primered DD for long time, had it since college 25 yrs. I'm finally mostly done rebuilding it after 4 yrs. Need to do home improves, but planning upgrades for my Camaro later. The ported fuel intake with DI delete seems simpler & more custom, very nice.

After watching video, like idea of ported fuel intake, but that is a big change, but it makes sense for a custom build. Thanks for sharing.
I once drove a procharged Gen 5, maybe upper 500, someday I'd like make mine to be about 600whp. Alpha chassis in Gen 6 Camaro deserves more hp than 400 something. To be safe, I'd like GPI pistons kit and then FI, maybe procharger or PD. There is a good machine shop I've used, he's outside Fredericksburg, VA. I could put in the FI kit. I'll enjoy my stock 1SS with Soler PTB for a while still, but on punch it after 5 years you can feel the engine could do more.
