I daily drive (well I did when we were allowed to go to the office pre covid...) my 16 SS with the manual. It's great. Even in DC traffic the clutch is easy not tiring. The worst thing is the electronic throttle takes a little bit to get used to, so you may want to take advantage of the auto rev match while you get it down.
Driven through snow with summer tires plenty of times (admittedly stupid). It's a champ. Take it easy, put it in snow mode and don't drive like an idiot and you'll be fine. If it can survive with summer tires I'm sure all seasons or snows would make a world of a difference. Hardest part is low speed maneuvering (like a parking lot) when it's very icy, but otherwise manageable. |
