No where on my car is there a camaro nameplate, and I have matte black bow ties.... and with FIFTY on the front fender, lots of people ask what it is. All positive...
My favorite comment that made me laugh was, ‘that’s the best looking Mustang I think I’ve ever seen! it’s beautiful!’
Gen6 is rare around here, but my God, I can’t go anywhere without seeing dozens of Mustangs and Challengers and Chargers.... But I think that might be because all three of those models haven’t really changed much in years.... at least to my untrained eye.

Never, a Camaro is just another car around here..

I was at Home Depot the other day and saw a 67 jaguar e type v12 convertible (possibly the most beautiful car ever built) and the owner was walking out the same time I was so I commented that his was a beautiful car, and he nicely said “yours is pretty nice too”

My responded was “Want to trade?” He just laughed, in a nice way, I would have done the same thing in his position

My ZL1 1LE gets tons of attention. Hard to miss that BAW (Big Ass Wing) when traveling down the road.. the front end also looks like it wants to eat you when viewed in the side view mirror..

Couldn’t agree more! I’ve had the pleasure of driving a 67 Jag e type in British Racing Green. That car was like a WWII fighter plane... a cockpit mounted behind a rocket. Everything in that car connected you to it, and the road. More torque than you can handle, and just the steering wheel (oak I think), was a piece of art. I need one!

Stopped at a gas station this morning & as I was getting in to leave a fellow came up to my window admiring my car & motioned for me to roll down the window. I recognized him & he acknowledged the change from my SS & asked how much HP this one had, so I told him. “650! Holy shit! I’d get arrested in that.”

Stopped at another dealer I know in the area. He, his dad, brother & his wife came out to check it out. He told me he had ordered a ‘21 ‘vert ZL1 for her. She climbed in the drivers seat & checked it out thoroughly.

The "nothing to prove" mentality is good to have. And yeah, it's very hard to beat that V8 exhaust sound, especially with most I4 engines.

(Now if only you could get rid of that horrendous front license plate, but I know it isn't an option there...)
Welp, it's something I have to deal with starting today. It's not a huge deal, and it helps that the OEM front license bracket doesn't require me to drill holes in the bumper.

You could get a Sto 'n Sho plate holder, I have it on my 2SS and have yet to put the plate on and drive, but it is there if I get pulled over...

so thats funny cause it hits home. I used to have a 2017 v6 with the fifty package for 3 years, and I recall more than one time someone, who was obviously trying to be nice, complimented my "mustang".

i traded in the 2017 v6 for a 2020 SS 1LE last winter, and the 1LE gets all kind of attention almost each time I drive it out. One time, just going thru the drive thru at hardees, I had 3 different people pull up right next to me to just start up a conversation about the car.

these cars do get attention. from my experience, the attention has always been positive with people giving the car a big thumbs up. but the attention is always from dudes. you ain't picking up no woman in a camaro, just teenage boys.....

I agree, there’s the few that give you looks or flex on you to race etc.. but my older cars like trans am and even turbo solstice or street bike get more attention then my camaro. I love the car but newer cars get overlooked by the muscle heads ( old school mainly). I’m ok with that though. I’ve had no cop issues with my camaro at all. Had problems with my charger all the time lol! Think they know it’s a basic guy driving the camaro all day! Lol!

I notice lots of head turning when driving around. Also get people telling me how great it sounds (stock NPP).

I stopped at a local Chevy dealer (not where I bought mine from) to check out the C8 they have in the showroom. The salesman was happy to let me explore the C8 all the while gawking out the window at my SS. As I was leaving he told me how beautiful my car is and stated that SS verts are very desirable and hard to come by. Never once did he try and talk deal. I guess he knows how great the Camaro SS is!
