lol not cocky i swear to god it used to happen all the time especially with the v6 5th gens and i dont want familys or kids anywhere near my car and i have longtubes and full afe power exhaust on my car so its probably just as loud even louder on track

Around here the people normally drive heavily tuned Golf GTI or Audi A3 and these guys always think they need to race me. When you talk about attention, I was pulled by the local police, one day for speeding. The officer came to my window, asked for license and registration. I reached for my wallet and realized I had left it at home! He chuckled and noticed I only had 300 miles on my new Camaro SS. He asked "new car?" I said yes, just got it a few days ago. He came back with a verbal warning and told me I should probably go home and get my wallet before I continue my joyride! He then stood there and we talked about my "new ride" for about 20 minutes. I thanked him and went directly home to get my wallet. Everytime I'm out in the car now, the local police all wave at me! Other people, not so much.

Just saw my coworkers black 17 1le with bronze rims. He does powder coating on the side and did his rims in gold chrome...Looks like bronze. Yours are a little brighter but they sure suite the white. Looks good.

Yeah, you're better off in a Camaro/Vette/Mustang vs an import when it comes to cops. I think you get more leeway a lot of the time and are more likely to get a warning vs a ticket.

My one story is, I was heading up a canyon, at the bottom you go through a residential area, I was going near the speed limit but then I hit the gas a little before the speed limit increased and there was an unmarked van shooting speed I failed to notice (they set up vans in random places, if caught they mail you the ticket). As I approached the van I saw the officer quickly reach over and turn the camera off.

Thanks! Took weeks to find the new color of the wheels, after many different shades of golds,and champagnes they all started to look the same lol I think I even had gold chrome on my list. I landed on satin poly gold.

You´re right, the front license plate is indeed horrible. Unfortunately its only one of many stupid laws that prevent you from making a car look the way you want it to look without having to go through tausends of problems and headaches.

I get “nice car” a fair amount. Don’t care really. Last thing I’m looking for is attention/car compliments. Bought it for the sound and performance. Got shadow gray to stand out as little as possible.

I have a 5th gen in Inferno Orange Metallic. I saw a pic years ago of the same car with the bronze rims. I thought it looked great. Then I kinda forgot about it till my co worker did his....then I saw your car.. I m starting to think that colour of wheel looks good on all Camaro colours. I'm blaming both you guys for making me look for a set a 1le rims to powder coat haha

My 4th gen Z28 got more attention than the 6th SS. I kept that thing immaculate, and typically if you see one it's beat to crap, so it really did stand out. There are enough 5th and 6th gens (and challengers, mustangs, etc.) running around that no-one bats and eye.
