Took it to the performance shop that did it. A bolt was rubbing when steering wheel turned under momentum. Fixed it within a couple of minutes. No more rubbing. Steering wheel is not feeling as stiff as it used to when driving. Could something have been touched to make this happen. It could all be in my head as well as its not a big change. Just feels like steering is always in touring mode.

Let me guess... right side fender well bolt.

Yes, you will need a tune or deal with check engine light for rear o2 sensors and you leave most of the HP gains on the table.

You can do it without hurting the car but just not worth it if you don't plan to ever tune.
