Many thanks for the link ! I would take this link to my dealer, but I’m afraid they would try to charge me retroactively.... at the time, I was running ps4s instead of 3Rs.., in OEM size... GM disclaimer is different brand tire can be up to 10mm wider.. yikes !

I find it BS that if you have a non OEM tire but it's the same damn size, that the repair isn't covered under warranty.

Yes a 285/30 Michelin and a 285/30 Goodyear are not going to be the same physical size but I believe that if I bought a 285/30 from any manufacturer should be considered OEM.

Still need to go check my car.

I was just thinking, if the OE tires do this. Then how can GM deny anyone with non OE tires that are the same size.

My wheel wells are good but I'll need to adjust the wires so I won't have to deal with this manufacturer defect.
