How is the odor or smell of the No Catted exhaust? I heard it smells like tear gas.

Borla does like to use an exorbitant amount of grease bending up their pipes, so it did smoke a lot and smell a bit initially, but that lasted maybe an hour. I am quite familiar with CS (tear) gas and it definitely does not “smell” like it, lol. Honestly I don’t notice any change in the odor.

It smells one billion times better/cleaner than my Trans Am does at idle running the same 93 octane gas. That car has no cats at all, and a decent size cam, etc.

Not sure if that helps you?

You weren't an ass at all, it was funny (and true)!

I blame my friend as he made me hurry so we could get a patio table at the restaurant there.

Non-Catted exhaust odors are dangerous to your health.

Wait... is this a serious reply? Because the odors 100% will not impact your actual health. Ever. But breathing in engine exhaust of any kind, catted or not, can harm you. In fact it can actually kill you if you inhale enough of it in a closed environment. But walking around in the area near a typical car with its engine running outdoors is not going to be dangerous to your health.

I think everyone already knows all of this though?

Lol... I guess sort of. It doesn't get much attention these days with the SS coming in last year and now the ZL1. But it's also a fun car. No AC, a 6 point roll bar, and set up for drag strip duty makes it not so fun on the street though. It's a constant work in progress but runs mid 11s on motor and high 10s on a 150 shot. 1.5 60 foots are awesome .
