Question on the TTY bolts on the rear. Is it just the bolts that need to be replaced or nuts and washers as well? I’ve read through a million post already on this and I’m still confused. Sorry to beat a dead horse. Are you local sourcing the parts through your dealer or online?

Anybody know if the blue strut hat can be replaced with a conventional camber plate? Sure would make adjustments a lot easier than using the strut bolts. I did mine yesterday, and found it really tedious trying to make small adjustments. Vorshlag shows one on their website for non-MR, but I don’t think it’s for the ZLE struts. Need to give them a call.

Exactly why I posted this for the tedious adjustments.

It's a great way to get another hand on it to move around.

Rotating the hats was easy enough. It was trying to make a 0.2 degree change with the strut bolts that was a pain.

I’m probably just getting frustrated due to lack of track time.......

I didn't need the extra handle to rotate, but rather make the small moves to get the bolts to lineup.

We may be talking about different things though.

Perhaps so. After I rotated the hats I was at 3.0 left and 2.5 degrees on the right side. Final adjustments had to be made using the strut bolts to get to 2.7.

I received a request about this strut and Vorshlag plates. It's not possible.
The Multimatic struts have a unique ball on the top of the strut, that makes it part of an integrated spherical joint. We can't remove that ball to substitute a standard spherical bearing.

Take a look at this article in Car and Driver.

The ball labeled "007" in this cutaway causes the issue with trying to adapt any other top mount to these struts.
