ZL1 60' Times with stock TCM
Just curious what kind of 60' times people are seeing with a good tire, minor mods and an ECU tune. Just trying to see if the TCU limits launching ability. Last year I was able to do a 1.7 60' but wasn't that focused on getting the most out of the hole. From my log my limiting factor was power but I don't think it was the car holding it back, boost rolled in slow and i feel like that was due to the stock pulley and being at 6000'. I will have an upper pulley next time I go.

cammed cars with radials and some other boltons like LT's/ pulley/ CAI you could expect 1.4

The best I've gotten is a 1.66 on the factory tires. It is a hit or miss thing, TM is very tricky.

My car has a TCM tune with similar mods as you and it does a 1.42 60 ft. With the TCM not being tuned I bet the TM will keep you in the 1.60's at best. Just a guess on my part though...

Stock TCM tune and bolt ons. With drag radials mine does 1.6s like clockwork. Does the same 60 ft whether off idle or foot braking. Fun to launch off idle.

Has anyone tried launch control setting it to around 2,000 Rpms? Ive only done it once but at the time I was stock with no mods.

UPDATE: TM was holding me back to a mid 1.7 60', i lied to the computer a bit in the tune and got a mid 1.6. Ill send the TCM out to get unlocked now.
