No, heads are not ported. There is maybe a 20hp gain from porting heads. Not worth it unless you are trying to get to that 1000whp big boy Power.

This is the link to the cam sound.

Mild as in lift or IDLE?

The Lingenfelter GT31 cam has no chop and make hella power.. sitting at 1000 with 19 lbs of boost will turn it up when I get a built short block..

Good matched springs to the cam, morel hyd lifters and, the CHE trunion upgrade will give you miles of tire smoking fun!

This is what I did. Outside of going with a company like Vengeance that has tested and tuned packages that are proven to work great together, it made the most sense to me to get a custom cam to fit my needs and what I was looking for from it as the cars use.

I have a stage 2 vengeance cam on my 2017 Z with a A10. Other cars have bigger cams, more parts than my car and still have not gone as fast as I have in 1/4.

The other guy on the fast list ZL1 Atlanta (Jason) also runs the exact same cam.

You can’t go wrong with VR.

As EDFHOBBIES mentioned, this was the other cam I was going to run. A lot more people in the vette world run it.

Don’t try to recreate a wheel.

The Texas Speed Stage 2 VVT cam is really well suited for the LT4. It has no overlap so it's perfect for a roots style supercharger. It has enough duration to chop but without the overlap its not over the top. It drives near stock with no issues.

We installed dozens of them in LT4 cars with nothing but happy customers.

Cam grinders know that these days and good shops like Vengeance, Texas Speed, RPM, etc. spec cams that are just right. The "Big cam/mild cam" choice is made simple: you can have both. Call Texas Speed, VR, RPM, Weapon-X, Speed Inc, CMS, GP Tuning, CPR, etc. or any of the other dozens of good LT shops out there and talk to them. They will get you exactly what you want. Very little tradeoffs necessary.

Yes, you can get the LT4 heads ported and it's worth 20-40 HP I'd say on average. If you're doing a cam and pulleys, you should get the heads ported. Maybe port the blower/snout while you're at it.

Texas Speed can handle your heads/cam needs. Kong Performance can handle your blower/snout porting. Call them up and get it done.

Thanks in advance your feedback was very helpful and answer my concerns bro really appreciate it. I thought for some reason the stage III vengeance racing cam was a big cam. Well I'm definitely going to cam my car soon probably this week coming up. I'm going to leave the heads stock for now.. next year I'm going to install a 2650 blower. Then get the heads ported and snout along with a nick Williams throttle body

Gotcha that's true. Are you on the stock converter? And your car sounds good very beefy

If I may add two cents here. Vengeance builds some badass stuff, good friend of mine has one of their builds. Crazy fast Z06. I think Tooley does a better job of building silly horsepower and maintain drivability. It comes down to what you want to live with. That research is what matters. Anyone can build you a donkey dick cammed 1000 hp monster, very few can build you a 900 hp car that is bearable. We all want numbers but what do we want to live with? Your definition of mild is rarely the definition of mild from the speed shop you choose. Just my experience in dealing with speed shops in general. Very few listen to what you want past the number you choose.

Thanks on your input bro really appreciate it. I just want the best cam on the market for my setup.
