I know the A10 is awesome and so are DCTs I've had in the past. That is probably the most personal part of driving a car for me. I don't care how awesome any automatic/DCT/PDK transmission is, I still love my manuals and that engagement/feeling can't be replaced by an auto for me. Bottom line is, these are emotional purchases and what works for one, doesn't work for another. Hope you heal up soon. I did a triathlon 2 years ago and have since gained 20 or so pounds since then. I 'm trying to get back into training and am having a hard time doing it. Unfortunately, I don't have any good reason like an injury not to, just been really lazy/unmotivated. |

On track or above 3rd the zle/1 will crush the z/28. Front and rear axle much stronger and more overall balance. Z/28 drifts easier but zl1 crushes z/28 in every other regard on track. Good luck with your choice! All three are greats cars. I wrote a track oriented review and comparison with the z/28 last year and posted on here. Should help you a lot if interested in the performance side of things |

True about the comfort thing definitely agree and the ZLE could be that sweet spot but I wish the price was though. It’s a bit out of reach for now might have to wait a little while longer for that one. |

Hmm seems like the Z28 is not tolerable for long drives. I remember the test drive when I was in it. It didn’t seem all that bad but I take your word for it besides it’s not like I had enough seat time to really get the feel for it on a long drive. Sent you a PM about the link my man. |

Tbh, I'm not too worried about the speed. 4 sec 0-60 and low 12s is decent enough for me. The ZL1 will definitely out gun it, but then again, so will 18-20k other ZL1s I might end up with both, but I honestly don't think I would drive the ZL1 once I get another Z/28. It will rot away in the driveway not getting touched, but taking up car payments and driveway space. The irony there being I am starting to see 6th gen ZL1s for cheaper than the Z/28; they are tanking, while the Z/28 is still sitting pretty, and even going up in cost for the real low mileage ones (only 13 for sale in the country right now though; 14 listed that I found in total, but 1 I already know is sold, because I called to buy it, but its still listed).

I would not even attempt that in the ZL1 since the seats bug me and make it uncomfortable (if they could lean back just a few inches more, I'd probably find it more comfortable). I will never get how people find them more comfortable lol. |

I hear ya about the 6th gen look although they are still great cars. I feel like the only exception for me would be the 6th gen ZL1 if I went 6th gen or even better a ZLE if the price was right. I remember renting a 2019 2ss at one point for a week to see what it was like and it wasn’t bad and the LT1 pulled pretty nicely for what it was and the interior lighting is pretty nice too especially on the side doors. I’m not too crazy on how the 19s look and it just didn’t have that muscle sound that I like. I went to see a 2018 6th gen ss 1LE one time and it seemed pretty small inside and out and I like a bigger car personally. Later that day I went to see another 5th gen Z28 (on a different occasion) and was in awe on that raw badass muscle car look that it has. It really made me think about it all night. I wasn’t able to purchase it because someone already put a down payment on it but I was at least able to sit in it and start it up when the salesman lend me the keys and I could automatically feel its pure raw energy just sitting in the car listening to it idle. But the 6th gen ZL1 is a beauty as well and is a bigger and roomier car than the 6th gen ss 1LE. |

The interior in the 6th gens is the same between models afaik. The 2019-2020s actually lose a tiny bit of interior space, and gain a tiny bit of exterior size. These are the 2018 breakdowns-- SS: https://media.gm.com/media/us/en/che...2018.tab1.html ZL1: https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us...2018.tab1.html |
