Thanks, Warrior. That is correct. Great point.

Let me add that although our TB's are about the same price as the competition, they offer many more features, so there is value in them too.

When you combine both our TB+TC, we like to think there is no other Mod that changes our cars so drastically for what you spend. We cherish the fact that we can compete based on this proposition.

Soler Performance Total Throttle Control is now available for 3.6L V6 LGX Engine as we have just introduced a Throttle Body Modification to go with our Controller. The combination is amazing. Please see:

Hey everyone!

Mike, quick question, after reading all of the comments and glowing reviews in the multiple threads on this forums, plus with your great customer service, I WILL undoubtedly be buying the TC and TB from you guys at some point.

I just got my 2018 1SS 1LE a few weeks ago and am not sure when I will have the money to buy the TB. I plan on keeping my stock one so I will be buying new from you.

The question is this: Is the TC without the TB, worth buying and installing now? I understand the benefit of both of them together but I do NOT have the willpower to buy the TC now and leave it in the box until I can buy the TB. So, do I buy and install the TC now, or do I wait until I can afford both?

I was hoping to find the answer in these threads but it seems like most of the TC users started with the TB.

Oh, the car is BONE stock.

Thanks, Rhobz. Congrats on your new ride. The order does not matter. You can install, use, and enjoy each independently in any order.

Got the Soler TC for Christmas. Already had the Soler TB and love it. Finally got around to installing the TC yesterday. Found what I thought to be a perfect location for it... out of the way, but still reachable from the drivers seat, granted, while at a light or parked. Also, as you can see from the pics, the setting can even be seen while sitting in the drivers seat. I really like the TC but have to wonder the recommended process for changing the setting. Can it be changed while the engine is running? Should it only be changed with the throttle position at 0%?

Just ordered!!! I can't wait to get it installed and see how well it compliments the (already installed) Soler Throttle Body. Mike's a great guy to work with and I'd highly recommend reaching out to him for some great products and customer service. He's the man!

Thanks brother!!!!

Only have driven it for about 10 miles but so far, it's a noticeable improvement. Not quite as drastic as what I had thought it would be, but an improvement. Need to drive it a bit more and play with the different settings!

Good luck with yours.

I find it works quite well on the 3.2 setting with the 6spd manual SS. Just the right clutch/throttle modulation fixes the throttle input lag.

I received my Throttle Body and Throttle Controller today. After a short time they were both installed minus the one bolt I lost during install. Got the car started, haven't done any move than a few revs in the garage but there is a noticeable difference in the response on SP.5 and above.

I email Soler Engineering support about the bolt size for the throttle body so I could replace it before taking her for a spin and Mike offered to send me one free of charge. That is excellent customer service!

I am looking forward to getting her out on the road and really putting the new throttle body and controller through the paces.

Doing my part to help the community. I installed my TC controller today. Easy install, would have been easier and quicker if I knew exactly where to place the box near the accelerator pedal. So that’s what I’m doing here to help the next guy.

sorry the pictures are sideways, I’m doing this on my iPhone

1st picture is where I ended up leaving the box. I outlined it with my fingers.

2nd picture shows the wire coming out from the top of the carpet. This is perfect since you have to run the wire up towards the dash anyway.

3rd picture is where I believe Mike from Soler was suggesting to leave the box. NO WAY it fits there. The accelerator pedal would not mount properly and the wire harness for the TC was not long enough to reach both connectors. Also, the wires would have been really contorted, I wasn’t comfortable with that.

4th picture is the clip that was securing (to the body of the car) the OEM wire harness leading to the accelerator pedal assembly. You need to pull that clip out (it came out really easily) in order to get enough slack to put the box behind the carpet without having to severely bend the wires. I left this clip off, the wires are high enough and it’s tight enough back there so nothing will be sliding around.

Pictures 5 and 6 are were I mounted my LCD screen. I ran the wire right underneath the steering column to the final mounting point. Plenty of space in there so nothing will get pinched when you adjust the steering column.

Programming the unit was smooth, no check engine light afterwards. Take the extra 3 minutes and disconnect the battery before you start doing any of this.

I haven’t driven the car yet so I can’t comment on that. But for $75 and the exceptional customer service you get from Soler it was a no brainer for me to try it.

Im looking forward to the first drive. I’ve heard really good things about this mod.

Hey Bro,
Did you just use the adhesive backing and stick it to the carpet? I’m in the process of installing And I am undecided on where to put the controller.

Thanks man
