Yea there's mustangs in my family so I'm very familiar with them, and they have marginally better and more usuable trunks lol... the c7 in some ways is better, but not in ultimate storage capabilities ofcourse.

But you learn to get creative. You've be surprised what I've been able to stuff in there, I even put a power wheels in the box in there for Christmas lol. Comoared to my gto, this trunk is huge.
Guys,

If you put stuff in the trunk, the weight goes up and lap times go up. Please don't do this.

I used to. Daily drove Mustangs from late 03 to October of 2011. So 8 years of daily driven mustang for me. Got rid of the 2007 GT when I moved and my commute went from about a 20 mile round trip commute to over 60. With the 4.10s and other mods I had I was already filling it up every 4-5 days with my short commute. I would have been filling up almost every 2.5-3 days and that was when gas was creeping up to almost $4 a gallon for 87. Had to get rid of it for something more efficient. I simply couldn't afford to keep driving it anymore. Got married after that, had a few years of really tight budgeting, bought a house, wife had a baby.

Focus died on me unexpectedly which put me in a bind needing to find a vehicle that weekend. So when a new car is not in the budget/plan at the time you don't have a ton of choices. Mazda had the best lease going on at the time so thats the route I went.

So that is why I don't daily one right now. I want to get back into it when the lease on the Mazda is up.

The full comparison test is now posted with a winner selected, but I still don't see lap times.

Gonna be interesting seeing M6G implode over that verdict.

Alpha isn't an opinion or preference. It is documented as being that good every time its reviewed. Chevy didn't cut corners on performance. If it has has a V8, or 1LE badge, it is built to compete.

What really gets on my nerves is the Ford's pretend MSRP, IMO if you can't buy it for "MSRP" EVER... then that is not the price of the vehicle. PERIOD. One would think hey the GT500 base ain't that bad... and really it ain't that bad of a price, but in reality we know the you can have a ZL1, a truck and trailer too for the true out the door price of a base, and carbon stuff, heck you can make that a nice diesel truck. Sorry but Ford has treated me and others as second class citizens. Can't talk to you unless you are willing to get rapped. Well no thanks GM will take my money and give me a huge discount off MSRP and GM credit union finance is super good too...

I really don't know how people continue to try and say alpha isn't a superior chassis.

That's what I did. I could have easily afforded one car costing over 100k. Originally I was looking at optioned out m3's and 911's. Went for the ZL1 and a truck instead.

The CFTP just seems like a pure money grab by Ford. 18k for some carbon wheels and tires? They should have just called it the Carbon Fiber Pack and left the track out of the name.

I'm glad GM gave the ZLE a proper track package. Hell, I wish the SS 1LE had the DSSV dampers and the aggressive spring rate.

The opening statement in the Track Preparation guide tells you everything you need to know about how your Camaro was designed and tested.

A sanctioned racing event would void the warranty but they straight out say it will handle it.

The 2018 Camaro SS Coupe, Camaro V6 1LE, Camaro V8 1LE, Camaro ZL1 and the extreme Camaro ZL1 1LE have been build for track performance in sanctioned events...
This car is so confident that its a joy to drive. The best that this level of money can buy.

Ford cuts corners and every car comes with some sort of excuse or *. GM isn't perfect but Chevy Performance gives 100%
